Gabrielle and Daniel’s Hong Kong Style engagement session taken in Chinatown, Seattle

Hong Kong style engagement photos have been highly requested this past year. If you aren’t familiar with this photography style, it often involves a more high-fashion look within a city backdrop. My mind immediately thought of Chinatown International District as an appropriate location for this type of shoot. Chinatown International District in Seattle is a vibrant blend of history, culture, and color. For couples looking to infuse their engagement photo shoot with energy, history, and color, this neighborhood offers the perfect backdrop.

We started out with some pictures in front of the iconic Chinatown Gate. We then walked through the streets trying to find some fun signs and backdrops to get creative with. I loved the bridal outfit and boots that Danielle wore for the first half of our shoot! For her second outfit, she opted for a red dress to match the colors of International District. We ended the shoot at a local noodle restaurant Chengdu Taste where the couple stopped for drinks and dinner!
